My journey with Pilates began as a way to navigate and heal after the passing of my brother. Movement became a profound outlet for releasing grief and trauma, and Pilates provided the gentle yet transformative approach I needed. This personal experience ignited my passion for helping others discover how movement can be a powerful tool for healing.

From my very first session, I knew Pilates was something I wanted to share with others. I pursued comprehensive training under my mentor, Roxanna Cohen, a highly regarded physical therapist and orthopedic clinical specialist with over 30 years of experience. I earned my certification through Polestar Pilates, a program meticulously developed by physical therapists from around the globe. The curriculum is updated annually, incorporating the latest research in movement science. My training involved 600 hours of in-depth study, allowing me to fully understand the intricacies of the human body and how to use Pilates to enhance overall well-being.

Pilates offers a unique blend of physical and mental benefits. By focusing on postural awareness and the mind-body connection, it allows individuals to move with greater intention and grace. Personally, I’ve found that Pilates has transformed how I carry myself—self-correcting my posture and moving with deliberate purpose.

While Pilates speaks for itself after just one session, I often highlight its versatility as a low-impact, full-body workout. It’s a practice that strengthens and lengthens muscles—especially those that often go unused—without the high-intensity demands of traditional cardio. Whether your goals include improving posture, rehabilitating old injuries, addressing back pain, or building abdominal and pelvic floor strength, Pilates can meet you where you are.
